Tom is responsible for The University of Nottingham’s digital communication and marketing strategy and has overseen digital campaigns focusing on international student recruitment and student engagement for the University’s campuses in the UK, China and Malaysia.

Nottingham’s Fresh Start campaign aimed at new undergraduate students, developed and run entirely in-house, won best Low Budget Campaign at the UK Social Media Communication Awards and the UK Public Sector Communication Awards in 2013 and the digital team at Nottingham has been shortlisted twice at the European Digital Communications Awards.

Tom’s previous experience includes time spent working for a range of organisations including Rolls-Royce, the NHS and digital consultancies in the UK.
