Candace is an award-winning communicator with more than 20 years of experience in broadcast and print journalism, media relations, crisis communications, social media, internal communications and strategic communications. She has trained hundreds of professionals on how to boost publicity results.

She was previously spokesperson and executive communications advisor for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (Metro). She also worked for 16 years as a television, radio and print journalist nationally and internationally.

Candace has also served as an adjunct assistant professor of emergency medicine at GW specializing in crisis communications; a judge for the Public Relations Society of America Silver Anvil awards and is a current member of the Broadcast Committee at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
