Science for Life Laboratory, SciLifeLab, is a Swedish national center for molecular biosciences with focus on health and environmental research. The center is a collaboration between four Swedish universities: Karolinska Institutet, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm University and Uppsala University.
In this sesseion, Susanna Appel and Camilla Wernersson will describe SciLifeLab, how they work and the challenges of communicating a new center that is run by four host universities with their own brands and agendas. They will also address the pros and cons of being a young organization where visions, strategies and work structures have not yet been fully developed.
