A reorganisation within the library network, when two units with diverse missions and distinct cultures were united, required a common understanding of the need for a communicative transparent organisation. A year-long process of brainstorming, workshops with heads and managers of the different departments and sections and discussions on all levels within the organisation has resulted in a common goal for the internal communication and a system of tools to be used in various communication situations.
We are now in a phase of implementing the system, with challenges to further develop the communicative leadership and the common understanding of the importance of a well-defined internal communication.
